Francine began her entertainment career after graduating from NYU with a BFA in Acting and Directing. She pursued a career in production and worked as a producer and story editor on several hit reality TV series and award-winning feature documentary projects. From there, she expanded into casting, serving as the casting director for numerous scripted digital series, commercials, and top-rated unscripted TV series, including MTV’s Catfish and Spike’s Bar Rescue. Prior to starting Aberrant Creative, Francine was the VP of Production at WIT.tv, a digital studio and talent incubator, where she produced premium comedic web content. Francine is skilled in managing teams of all sizes, and her varied industry experience has taught her how to adapt her approach to casting and production for any format or platform, allowing her to successfully target desired audiences and meet clients’ needs. Over the last decade, Francine has directed 50+ short-form music documentaries, performances and special fan/artist surprise experiences that have been viewed by over 100MM people worldwide. Now with Aberrant Creative, Francine has helmed the casting of over 30 seasons of unscripted TV, more than three dozen branded and commercial spots, provided casting and development services for numerous networks and production companies as well as cast actors for features, tv series and brands.
Matt Shelley
Matt is a midwest guy who had an auspicious start in logistics and real estate. But the financial crisis of 2008 inspired a cross-country move to Los Angeles, where he discovered his passion for film and television. Since joining the field, Matt has worked in all facets of entertainment including production, post-production, and of course, casting. During this term he has worked with local and international brand campaigns from Major League Baseball to Nike to Saks Fifth Avenue; delivered digital content for outlets such as Facebook, Snapchat, and Amazon that have garnered millions of views. Matt has helmed the casting of TLC’s hit show Dr. Pimple Popper, Lifetime’s Supernanny, Netflix’s DOGS and Cat People, as well as dozens of other acclaimed series. Having a unique background in both entertainment and business, Matt uses a collaborative and systematic approach to creative storytelling that maximizes the marketability, production value, and emotional connectivity of each project he touches.
